Stella Reid
After leaving a career as a flight attendant, Stella started training as a wildlife carer and over the past 25 years she’s devoted her life, and her home, to looking after orphaned wildlife.

Tragically Stella lost her home in the ‘Black Saturday’ bush fires of 2009, which ravaged the area, killing 173 people and decimating the local wildlife. Since then Stella and her husband Alan have rebuilt their house as a wildlife shelter and continue to care for wild orphans 24/7. is one of Stella’s full time charges.
