Professor Julia Gog

Julia Gog is the Professor of Mathematical Biology at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge, where she is head of the Disease Dynamics research group. Her research is on infectious disease transmission and evolution, particularly influenza, and recent work includes analysing how the 2009 pandemic influenza spread in the US in 2009. Prof. Gog is the David N. Moore Fellow at Queens’ College, where she is the Director of Studies in Mathematics.
