Jordan and Jodie first met when they were teenagers, as they lived in the same area, but they drifted apart and lost touch. They bumped into each other again in 2011 on a night out and soon became serious.

Getting pregnant just three months into their relationship came as a complete shock to both Jordan and Jodie. Jodie did the test on Boxing Day morning. She wanted to get it out of the way, expecting it to come up negative. When it came up positive, Jodie had little time to think before she had to go to Jordan’s house for a Boxing Day party.

Man’s man Jordan has no experience with babies and has never had to change a nappy - something which scares him. He’s also a bit squeamish and once fainted when Jodie took out an earring! Jordan loves playing on the x-box and having a night out with his mates. He likes to stay in touch and is forever on his phone checking out what his friends are up to – he even has a phone ap which will help him time Jodie’s contractions.

His phone obsession coupled with his minimal attention span, has raised fears he won’t be able to stay focused in the delivery room!

Jodie works in mobile phone retail. She fears Jordan may lose the plot as well as his focus when their big day comes. She’s fairly relaxed about the birth, especially as her mum will be there and possibly Jordan’s mum too.
