The US has hit back at China in their escalating trade war raising tariffs in retaliation for Beijing's announcement earlier in the day of new duties on American goods. In a series of tweets President Trump said existing 25% tariffs on $250 billion in Chinese goods will increase to 30% starting on October 1st.
