Google's Q1 results beat expectations

Its parent company Alphabet reported 13% growth in revenue in the first three months.

Its parent company Alphabet reported 13% growth in revenue in the first three months of 2020, but warned of slowing advertising revenue due to the coronavirus outbreak. We get analysis from Reuters tech correspondent Paresh Dave in San Francisco.

At the end of last year, around 10 million people a day used Zoom, the video chat app. That number has now grown to about 300 million, thanks to the lockdown restrictions imposed in many countries around the world. Derrick Pando is the company's Head of International Partner Marketing, and talks to us about privacy concerns surrounding the app which have recently hit the headlines.
