Chinese eye row
Chinese model Cai Niangniang recently found herself in the middle of a social media storm. Pictures of her were deemed 'deliberately offensive' and 'unpatriotic' due to her narrow eyes, with many online saying this perpetuated racist stereotypes of Chinese people. Rise of the right in Georgia
The 麻豆官网首页入口's Rayhan Demytrie, based in the Georgian capital Tbilisi, has been investigating the rise of the far right in Georgia, particularly focussing on an attack last July on the offices of the LGBT group Tbilisi Pride. Many of those involved were supporters of the broadcasting group Alt-Info, which has recently registered as a political party. Rayhan shares her insights.
Pistachios from Aleppo
