California鈥檚 insurance crisis

Even before wildfires ravaged Los Angeles, getting insurance was already difficult and expensive. We meet some of those who lost everything - and ask what the future holds?

Thousands of homes burned to the ground in the recent wildfires in Los Angeles which will likely become the most expensive natural disaster in US history.

Many victims did not have insurance, because they couldn鈥檛 afford California鈥檚 increasingly expensive policies or because they were dropped by their insurer.

Lexy O鈥機onnor meets some of those affected and finds out what鈥檚 fuelling California鈥檚 insurance crisis.
