Alex Turner (Artic Monkeys) and Miles Kane (The Rascals) formed The Last Shadow Puppets (TLSP) in August 2007 alongside James Ford on producer and drum duties.

Alex and Miles decide to surprise Jo on her birthday with a Live Lounge!  Jo can't guess who they are from they're fake accents..."Is it Oasis? Mark Ronson?"

The duo respond by performing their new single Standing Next To Me.

Jo loves her surprise and goes on to ask them about their Glastonbury experience this year and their secret gig in the Park area with a surprise collaboration with Jack White from The White Stripes.

Alex reveals that the Arctic Monkeys are working on the next album and are already 8 tracks deep.

They have a busy Summer to come with festivals and in their guise as The Last Shadow Puppets, they will be touring the UK in October and November.

TLSP originally wanted to cover The Ting Tings but were beaten to the challenge by Dizzee Rascal just two days earlier.

Listen again to hear their darker interpretation of Rhianna as they cover her top ten single SOS.
