Global fish and seafood stocks may collapse by 2048

No food from the sea by 2048?

A group of marine biologists and economists report in the journal Science this week that global fish and seafood stocks will collapse by 2048 if measures aren鈥檛 taken soon to halt current exploitation of the sea.

As marine biodiversity is lost so does the ability of the oceans to recover. Geoff talks to Boris Worm, about the findings environmental and economic consequences.
