Look Ahead - Women in 2008 02ÌýJan 2008
What are the main issues to affect women this year?

As 2008 begins, Woman’s Hour discusses some of the forthcoming issues for women in the coming year. Our panel of guests discuss climate change and the importance of the Bali agreement, and the upcoming American elections, which may see a woman in The White House for the first time. To discuss these issues, Jenni talks to Bronwen Maddox, ChiefÌýCommentator of The Times, Juliette Jowit – Environment Editor at The Observer, Professor Haleh Afshar of the University of York, who recently became a 'People's Peer' and Louise Bagshawe – novelist and Tory candidate.
