The growing number of older women riding the waves
According to the British Surfing Association forty percent of new surfers are women. And there are a growing number of older women taking up the activity - the Women鈥檚 Institute even added body boarding to its list of members events last summer. Jemima Laing went to meet Sally Foster and Gwyn Haslock; two hardy women in their sixties, who Malibu surf in Cornwall all year round, whatever the weather.
