Why are women candidates and their supportersÌýbeing targeted?Ìý
Kenya’s elections took place on Thursday 27th December.ÌýDuring the campaign some estimate that 255 women, both candidates and their supporters, have been assaulted, yet no arrests have been made.ÌýWe hearÌýwhy women have been targeted and what is being done to tackle the under representation of women in Kenyan politics.
