Over twenty years ago a group of writers – all female – were bringing a new kind of play to the nation’s theatres. They offered a glimpse into what was loosely described as ‘female experience’. Among them were Caryl Churchill, Timberlake Wertenbaker and Louise Page. Now for the first time in over 20 years Page’s ‘Salonika’ is being revived.
