Using sport to change attitudes to girls.
In Twic in Southern Sudan,听the closing ceremony of the annual Olympic games is taking place. The games were set up to help promote peace between local Dinka clans following decades of war, and to offer girls the chance to be treated as equals, in what鈥檚 still a traditional pastoral society. Our reporter Jay Mukoro and translator Elisabeth Akuanya听went to Twic to find out how the games are helping to change attitudes towards听girls in Sudan. |
