Last week Venice was hit by one of the worst floods in over a century - bringing back memories of the great flood of 1966, when thousands were trapped in their homes. Since the '66 flood, debate has raged about the best way to protect the city from the elements - but there is still no single body responsible for the defence of the city. Anna Somers Cocks is chairman of the Venice in Peril Campaign and Jane da Mosta is a scientist who's been studying flood patterns in the city. They've been talking to Keith Allen, along with residents who were in the city on the night of the great flood in 1966.
