It may seem a strange way to promote peace, but Israel's current boxing champion feels she's done just that with her fight against an Arab teenager.
Sharon Friedman is an ultra orthodox Jew, a mother of four and on the wrong side of 40. She made history in the ring when she defeated Amal Al-Haj, a 17 year old Palestinian, who once dreamed of being a ballet dancer.
The two women put aside cultural differences to promote the sport they love, and show that Jews and Muslims can work together - even if it involves knocking each other out.
Sarah Zebaida went to meet the reigning champion.
