Every parent has high hopes for their child, and sometimes those hopes end in disappointment. For Lauren Roche it ended in disaster - with the terrible news that her eldest son is a paedophile.
Lauren herself was born into poverty in New Zealand, and raised in a violent abusive home. Yet despite her descent into drugs and prostitution she succeeded in turning her life around, returning to school and eventually qualifying as a doctor.
Lauren Roche joins Jenni to talk about the launch of the second part of her autobiography. Part 1: Bent Not Broken by Lauren Roche, published by Zymurgy; ISBN: 1903506026 Part 2: Life on the Line by Lauren Roche, published by Zymurgy; ISBN: 1903506050
