Board Games 29 December 2003
Monopoly has sold over 20 million copies since its invention in 1933, but it's a little known fact that the game was originally designed by an American Quaker called Lizzie Maggie, who patented The Landlord's Game in 1904.

Ralph Anspach, inventor of Anti Monopoly and Catherine Howell from the Museum of Childhood in Bethnal Green explain her story.

Jenni is also joined by comedian and game player Martin Bigpig Mor and Liz Shorrocks a senior lecturer in Women's studies and creative writing at Bradford University.
