WhatÌýmight we look like in 50 years time?

As digital facesÌýgrow ever more "real" andÌýface transplants become medical fact,Ìýthe Wellcome Trust presentsÌýa new exhibition that asks what the faces of the future might look like.

Sandra Kemp, curator of the exhibition and Director of Research at the Royal College of Art,Ìýshows Claudia Hammond the extraordinary results of her exploration of this very personal part of the body:

Future Face is at London's Science Museum from 1 October 2004 to 13 February 2005. Admission free, information on 0870 870 4868.

The Science Museum's Dana Centre will be holding a series of free events about the face from Tuesday 5 October. Admission free, but pre-booking essential (020 7942 4040).
