Hello, well what a fortnight so far, I think I can grade how much I've been up to by how much caffeine I have to take in to keep my eyes open. It's been non-stop, going places, doing things and filming... and it's starting to take its toll. So where to start... Teenage Kicks in Shrewsbury Quarry feels like ages ago now, when it was hot and sunny and the burgers were free! A really enjoyable day and some real talent among the bands. I've also been preparing for an interview with Ken Loach for a while and to do that I had to try and see some of his films. So off I went to see The Wind that Shakes the Barley in the Old Market Hall, which was heavy going to say the least but still brilliantly made. I have also been working on, rewriting, filming and directing my very first short movie. It's been totally knackering! Not only is it difficult to keep lots of things like the plot, camera angles, lighting and audio all in your head, but getting asked questions at the same time by different people was difficult for my brain to keep up with. We've got a baby, a police car and a number of pieces of polystyrene to film - so you can just imagine what it's gonna look like. But hey it's finished now and all we need to do is start editing it, oh joy. And then it was down to Bishop's Castle to take a look at the Trading Faces youth theatre project, Inner Spark. It was very interesting and the masks were to be honest scary at times. But the skills that had been taught by the tutors about body language and character profiling were amazing.

So what's coming up next I hear you all excitedly ask (chuckle). Well I'll be going to see the film Brick soon which I'm looking forward to.听Ken Loach MIGHT be near a phone so I'm hoping to have a quick chat with him and there is of course the V Festival coming up which is going to be fantasticly amazing I cannot wait! So no matter how tired I am or how much stuff there is to do I think it's carry-on regardless for the rest of the summer ahhh no rest for the wicked Get in touch if there's anything interesting happening where you are I'd really love to hear from you people.
