Despite the fact that they've only been playing together since January 2007, Lady Muck have already been taking their blend of "blues-based funk flamenco jazz-rock" as far as Liverpool and Manchester.Ìý

Based in Oswestry, the four-piece cite their influences as everything from Latin jazz to Led Zeppelin and, unsurprisingly the result is something genuinely original.

The plan at the moment is apparently just to "get a van and go as far as we can", and of course to do a full-scale world tour, which, according to the band, will include shows in "Japan, Spain and Wales" along the way.

But at the moment, you can still check them out fairly locally. And if you want something exciting, unique, and really rather good, you should head to one of their gigs.
