This
is due to the fact that its stars include the current Bollywood
heart throb, Hrithik Roshan and co-star Amisha Patel, both of whom
catapulted to stardom upon their debut release of Kaho Naa Ptaar
Hai two years ago.
Hence a pairing
of this lethal combination once again by Vikram Bhatt is sure to pique the audience's
interest.
A.M.A.L.L. is
an emotional drama about Sapna, an innocent damsel who lives under the tight security
of the underworld don, Dholokia who happens to be her father.
Being captive in
her own home, Sapna has tried to escape her prison-like environment
many a time but to no avail.
Soon the story takes a turn when Sapna is allowed to attend the
nine-day harvest festival called 'ssiratri'. There she meets
a handsome college student by the name of Rohit and both fall in
love much to the dismay of her father.
There then follows a series of blood thirsty battles as Dholokia tries all he
can to keep her daughter away from Rohit.
Whether Rohit
does succeed in saving Sapna from the clutches of her father forms the climax
of this love story.
Both
Hrithik and Amisha have faired well performance wise which tends
to bring memories of the previous blockbuster Kahno Naa Pyaar
Hai flooding back.
Music by Rajesh
Roshan is the highlight of the film which is further enhanced by
the earth shattering choreography and breathtaking costumes especially
in the 'ssiratri' song sequence.
To sum it all up,
A.M.A.L.L. is a pure entertainment Bollywood style with the right
doses of emotions and drama. Best of all, we get to see Hrithik
on the big screen as the hero of this flick! So give it a 'decko'.
