Tara (Govinda) and Sitara (Sanjay Dutt) are two small time crooks.

They get entangled with an underworld don, Cobra (Ashish Vidyarthi) during one of their police chases.

The crooks manage to escape but Cobra gets arrested. He swears revenge.

Fed up of being on the run, Tara and Sitara decide to escape to neighbouring Nepal in order to live a peaceful life.

But to cross the India-Nepal border, they must first get pass the Border Security Force managed by Major Ram Singh (Jackie Schroff).

By giving a sob story, they find their way into the Major鈥檚 house and straight into the hearts of his two girls, Pinki (Nandini Singh) and Priti (Amrita Arora).

When Cobra gets wind of Tara and Sitara's whereabouts, he decides to use them as bait in order to free his brother, Panther (Gulshan Grover) from Major鈥檚 custody.

So he kidnaps Tara and Sitara鈥檚 mother (Himani Shivpuri).

He reaches Ram Singh's house under the pretence of a relative and blackmails the crooks into getting Panther out.

What happens next? Watch Ek Aur Ek Gyara because by hook or by crook, both these small time crooks will make this film equal to eleven!

David Dhawan has once again repeated the comic duo, Govinda and Sanjay Dutt whom we have seen in Haseena Maan Jayegi and Jodi No 1.

Unlike his earlier releases, David has learnt from his mistakes. He has managed to cover the loopholes which would otherwise bring the film鈥檚 downfall.

This is further elevated by the excellent comic timing of Govinda who makes each of his co-stars fall in line.

He delivers the wit and humour with sheer brilliance thus affirming his position as Bollywood鈥檚 leading comedienne.

He is well supported by Sanjay Dutt who gives as good as he gets in the comic scenes.

The chemistry between him and Govinda is electrifying. And that鈥檚 the main reason for using this pair again.

Musicians, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have done a good job. The title song, Beimaan Mohabbat, Jogiya and O Dushmana are all great foot tapping numbers.

It is well worth noting that with this film, David Dhawan has teamed up with producer Subhash Ghai.

This Bollywood director who once gave us hits like Hero, Pardes and Taal, is now venturing into film planning.

After his approval, the film plan is passed over to a selected director who then executes the film.

His last experiment, Rahul, failed at the box office but with Ek Aur Ek Gyarah, he will definitely receive fruit of his labour.

On the whole, Ek Aur Ek Gyara is worth seeing for its hilarious moments, excellent dialogues and Govinda's comic performance.
