Nisha Sagar, a Mumbai-based designer has been dressing
leading ladies of Bollywood for many years. These include
Hema Malini, Jaya Bachchan, and Juhi Chawla.
Coming from the popular Sagar family who produced the religious
serial Ramayana, Nisha is also currently designing
for an epic serial called Hatim Tai.

This
will be launched on one of the Asian satellite channels later
this year.
Nisha
is presently in London to showcase some of her work.
She
also plans to launch her own designer store very soon in London.
听
Established
in 1992, Nisha's designs are proving very popular, as they
blend that perfect traditional Indian look along with a fashionable
western style.
She knows how to design the perfect dress for the woman of
today. She uses colours which can be vibrant or subdued, depending
on whether she's designing casual or formal wear.
A
workaholic by nature, Nisha sits with her workers to make
sure that every dress is stitched to perfection.

'I
think women will surely find her collection exciting,' said
Bollywood actress Hema Malini.听听听
This
year's collection includes screen printed suits with embroidery
work.
'Normally, designer outfits are charged at an exorbitant
price', said Nisha.
'You will be surprised when you hear about my pricing.
I have priced my clothes most reasonably.'
'It
is just not right to overcharge the consumer. But at the same
time we must keep innovation and quality in mind.'
