Garv
(meaning pride and honour) takes a cinematic look at the lives of
the Mumbai police officers.
The
film focuses on Samar Singh (Amrish Puri), Arjun Ranawat (Salman
Khan) and Hyder Ali (Arbaaz Khan).
Arjun
and Hyder take the law into their own hands to eliminate the dons
who rule the underworld gangs.

This
creates panic within the community of people who are connected with
these gangs to make easy money.
This
result in a high tension, action packed drama as they battle for
their innocence.
Amidst
these tensions, the film takes a look at the officer's private lives.
Arjun's
mother (Farida Jalal) and sister (Akanksha) are targeted by the
gangsters. So he takes the law into his own hands.
No Bollywood film is complete without a love angle and loads of
song and dance routines.
This
is provided by actress Shilpa Shetty, whose character falls madly
in love with Arjun.
Garv
sees the directorial debut of Puneet Issar. For those who can remember,
he played the character of Duryodhan in B.R.Chopra's television

The
film sees the comeback of the dynamic duo Salman Khan and Arbaaz
Khan for the third time round after Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya
