Deewar
(meaning the wall) is largely inspired by stories suggesting there
are still 54 soldiers, held as prisoners of war during the 1971 war
between India and Pakistan.
The
film concentrates on the lives and loves of these captured men and
their final struggle to freedom.

image in this latest state of the art Bollywood offering.
Yesteryear actress, Tanuja will be seen playing Amitabh's wife in
this film. Incidentally, they first appeared together in the movie,
Pyar Ki Kahani (1971).
The
highly talented actor, Kay Kay who gave a superb performance in
films like Bhopal Express and Chhal, will be seen
playing a baddie in Deewar.

Kay is Sohail who is responsible for capturing the escaped prisoners
and putting them back behind bars - for life.
This high tension drama opens in UK cinemas very soon.
With
Amitabh Bachchan leading an all star cast, this Bollywood great
