| Nikhil
(Shahid Kapoor) is in love with Neha (Soha Ali Khan). She is ambitious
by nature whilst Nikhil is quite content in his little world of Samarpur.
Neha
has always wanted to be an air hostess and so she decides to move
to Mumbai. Having made up her mind, even Nikhil is unable to stop
Neha.
It's
not long before he follows her to Mumbai. Not one to give in that
easily, Nikhil continuously pesters Neha to return to their small
village. But Neha does not budge.
She
soon gets fed up him and decides to dump him for good.
Heartbroken,
Nihkil gets a job in a music shop so that he can stay in Mumbai.
There, he meets Sarah (Tulip Joshi) and falls in love with her.
The
twist comes when he meets Shagun (Ayesha Takia) who lives in the
same neighbourhood as him. So he decides to romance her too!
Just
when everything is working out just fine for this young man, the
other two girlfriends make a comeback into his life.
So,
who is finally destined for Nikhil? Is it Neha, Sara or Shagun?

Dil
Maange More is director Ananth Narayan's second movie. Whilst
his first film, Dil Vil Pyar Vyar was a musical, Dil Maange
More veers towards a romantic comedy.
Having said this, Dil Maange More has too many songs which
breaks the flow of the story.
Nonetheless,
all song sequences are very well performed by Shahid Kapoor where
the Malaysian locales form the backdrop. Must say he is a terrific
dancer!
You
will notice in the film that Shahid imitates King Khan. That's fine
but when it becomes repetitive, the effect is diluted. Shahid is
a star in the making and there is doubt about that. So there is
no reason why he should not create his own profile.
Saif
Ali Khan's sister, Soha, makes her Bollywood debut in this film.
She looks great and seems to feel at ease with her acting.
Give
her time and she will mature into a terrific actress when she has
learnt the ropes of the Bollywood film industry.
As
for the climax, this looked very hurried with no thought gone into
it by the director. This would have helped the movie in the long
run if it was better planned.
One
last word about the film - Dil Maange More is your average
flick which you have all seen before. It's minor faults will not
help the film in the long run as word of mouth goes around.
