Soon
an awkward, formal exchange of words grows into a deep, meaningful conversation
as Prem and Poonam discover that they are soul mates. Poonam,
an orphan, has grown up in a small town, where her uncle (Alok Nath), has brought
her up. Her
aunt (Seema Biswas), however, is jealous of Amrita's beauty, simplicity and charm,
as her own daughter Rajni (Amrita Prakash) is overshadowed. Gentle
and softly-spoken Prem might be one of the most prosperous bachelors living in
the fast lane but deep down in his heart he respects his family traditions and

and Poonam hit it off on their first encounter and soon they are engaged. They
decide to get married in six months. Both
these characters now enter the most magical and romantic time of their lives.
Six
months fly by. Just when everything is set for the wedding, a crisis puts their
love through some trials and tribulations. Vivah
(meaning the wedding) is a heart warming tale of unconditional love. This
film is being released by Rajshri Productions, a company who is famous for releasing
box office hits like Hum Aapke Hai Kaun and Hum Saath Saath Hai.
