Aldershot Town 2-2 Chesterfield

A stoppage-time goal from Tom Denton saw Chesterfield snatch a draw at Aldershot Town in the National League.

The home side broke the deadlock on the stroke of half-time, with Ethan Chislett converting a penalty after Mohamed Bettamer was brought down in the box.

It took just five minutes after the break for Chesterfield to equalise, with Scott Boden getting on the end of Anthony Gerrard's header from a corner to score.

Jack Powell put the home side back in front 20 minutes from time, finishing off a move down the left with a cool finish from inside the box.

But with seconds left on the clock, a floating cross found Denton in the box to head home an equaliser in the fourth minute of added time.

That late goal means Aldershot remain four points and two places above Chesterfield, who are 21st in the table and two points from safety.
