Cambridge sign Blackburn defender O'Riordan on loan

Cambridge United have signed Blackburn Rovers' Republic of Ireland Under 21 centre-back Connor O鈥橰iordan on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old moved to the Championship club from boyhood side Crewe Alexandra in January for an undisclosed fee.
O'Riordan has played more than 50 times in the English Football League for Crewe and spent the first half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Raith Rovers in the Scottish Championship.
He made two substitute appearances in the Championship for Rovers in February.
