Cornish Pirates winger Matt McNab has agreed a new deal to stay at the club for the 2024-25 season.

The Zimbabwe international, 26, has scored eight tries in the Championship this season and was named Supporters Player of the Year.

He moved to the club last summer having spent time at Hartpury, Worcester and Zimbabwe Goshawks in South Africa's Currie Cup.

He is the fifth player to agree a new deal this week after forwards Morgan Nelson, Hugh Bokenham and Will Gibson, and full-back Will Trewin.

鈥淢att joined us last summer and hit the ground running, since when he has proved to be a much respected and popular member of the squad, and a great character," said Pirates joint-head coach Gavin Cattle.

鈥淗e possesses power and pace and has been one of the stand-out performers in the Championship."
