Harlequins flanker Katie Mew and centre Georgia Gray have become the latest members of the club's squad to announce their retirement.

Mew, 28, has been at Quins for the last six seasons, having begun her career at Havant.

She was part of the Harlequins side that beat Saracens 25-17 to win the 2021 Premier 15s title.

Gray, 29, was also part of the title-winning squad and returned to the Stoop in 2020 after a brief spell at Richmond.

They are the latest experienced Quins players to announce they are calling time on their careers.

Former England trio Shaunagh Brown, Emily Scott and Rachael Burford all announced their retirements on Tuesday.

Quins, who lie sixth in Premiership Women's Rugby after a difficult campaign, host seventh-placed Trailfinders in their final league game of the season on Sunday, 2 June.
