The Feeling: Manufactured pop or credible indie rock?

I don't think i'd class them as either, just a very cheesy group who's songs all sound the same.

I don't care what you want to call them, I say they are amazing! Why must people insist on giving bands a label 'you're pop' or 'you're rock' or ' you're indie'? For gods sake all that's important is that they make good music (and in this case The Feeling are also great people).

The Feeling are an amazing modern band which have shown that they are more then just "Credible indie rock".

They're not bloody indie, does it look like they're on an independent label? And they're not manufactured. They are pop/soft rock I suppose if you must define them through a genre but they can't be typecasted. They are the only decent band out there at the moment, and rival many old classic bands. Try to listen to the whole package ie, lyrics, harmonies, talent, solos, singing, etc rather than writhing in pain at hearing a genre they have been labelled for God's sake.

I saw them in concert last night (Bristol Carling Academy) Met Richard before hand, he was really lovely. I think they are pop, they say they're pop, but they're not manufactured and sound amazing live. They're second album sounds better live in fact! I'll more than happily be going to see them in the autumn on they're 'big tour' as Dan called it last night.

A load of manufactured rubbish. Indie is officially dead and the success of bands like The Feeling prove it. Radio 1 shouldn't be playing this stuff, it just adds to the pain.
