Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú National Chorus of Wales.
With more than 80 full-time members, the orchestra performs regularly throughout Wales and across the globe.
In addition, the orchestra frequently broadcasts concerts on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú radio and television including Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Radio 3, Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Cymru Wales and Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Four. It has also recorded soundtracks and incidental music for the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú's Doctor Who and Torchwood series.
Education and community work is integral to the orchestra's musical life. Workshops and masterclasses laid on for Welsh schools, groups and musicians of all abilities reach an average of 11,000 participants each year.
Having outgrown its previous home of over 40 years at the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú studios in Llandaff, the orchestra moved to its new purpose-built base - Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Hoddinott Hall at Wales Millennium Centre - in January 2009.
Seating up to 350 people, the concert hall, named after the late composer Alun Hoddinott, enables the orchestra to present more intimate concerts while the state-of the-art Grace Williams studio provides extra rehearsal space and a base for community work.
Large-scale concerts continue to take place in St David's Hall, Cardiff and Swansea's Brangwyn Hall as well as other performances across Wales.
