Who Should Fund The Arts?
Arts companies in Wales are bracing themselves for the outcome of a review that will result in some of them losing their lifeline.

Tomorrow (Tuesday 29 June) the one hundred theatre and dance companies, art galleries and music makers that currently receive this funding will find out if that flow of funds is to be turned off.
Over the past 18 months, the Arts Council of Wales has carried out an Investment Review. As part of the process, every arts company and organisation in Wales has submitted a three year business plan.
The aim is to ensure that - as public spending tightens - the arts in Wales offer value for money.
Some companies will inevitably be disappointed, and closures or mergers could follow.
