Over 3,000 people attended throughout the day and many brought along rare artefacts, memorabilia from both World Wars such as medals and photos for our group of antiques specialists - including antiques expert Simon Chorley and medals specialist Terry Duncan - to examine and offer their expert knowledge.

Highlights at the event included a fashion show where people dressed in period WWI military and civilian dress paraded around.

Visitors to the event were also able to go on a tour of an authentic WWII Anderson Shelter exhibit from the Cirencester Air Raid Shelter Museum and get a flavour of what it must have been like to have lived through such times.
