CJ Sorry Sharpe you are wrong. There is a link to the mainline box tunnel to Copenacre munitions depot. It was used during the war to make up munitions trains.
Sharps Mr Chris Lawson, there is not and there has never has been a railway station linked to the mainline via Box Hill Tunnel. I'm a senior railway engineer.

Jackie M I found this site to be absolutely fascinating, but also unsettling. Once you get past the instant response of.."oh my gawd look at that...", you are hit with a sense of disquietness. Makes me want to learn more. Any other sites I can visit?
