have announced their first new writing festival that will take place in January 2025 where writers and theatre makers get the chance to stage their work.
What is Write Club?
- Open to everyone with a piece of writing waiting for a debut performance or a theatre maker with a new idea.
- The festival will include up to 30 productions that run for 2-4 days each
- Each writer will be given support from the venue and incited to regular socials with other companies involved in the festival.
How to Apply
- Please send a script or outline treatment(if a devised or work in progress piece)
- A brief cover email with a little bit more about yourself and why you'd like to stage the piece at The Hope
- Pieces can be any length between forty five - sixty minutes with no limit on cast size.
- The piece should not have been professionally staged for more than two performances previously.
