They will take place at the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Hoddinott Hall in Cardiff Bay. Five competitors per category perform a recital programme of 20 minutes in a bid for the title of category winner.

In the semi-final the five category winners will compete for three places in the competition Final on 16 May.

The events will take place on the following dates:

• Brass: Sunday 7 February, 7pm
• Strings: Monday 8 February, 7pm
• Keyboard: Tuesday 9 February, 7pm
• Woodwind: Wednesday 10 February, 7pm
• Percussion: Thursday 11 February, 7pm
• Semi-Final: Friday 12 February, 7pm
