On Saturday 13 September 2008 the Custard Factory stage will feature some of the scene’s most talented vocalists, MCs, producers and DJs including Madman the Greatest from the Playaz Cliq label and DJ Mylz, founder of the award-winning Heducation club nights and events. ![]() DJ Mylz LoyaltyBirmingham’s ground-breaking hip hop scene is promoted mainly through the support of local community radio stations and word of mouth.Ìý Many of the artists are unsigned and independently produced and financed with a small but loyal following. MadmanMadman has recently been gaining notoriety for a series of underground remixes of classic hits including Michael Jackson’s The Way You Make Me Feel which have been made available exclusively on-line through file sharing websites.Ìý This particular remix has also polarised opinion with viewers on YouTube where it has been described as ‘one of the best remixes to hit the industry in 10 years’.
