Samba is a type of Latin American music, and together with other latin music styles eg. bossa nove, conga, salsa etc. they have greatly influenced many modern songs such as Whenever Wherever by Shakira, Mas Que Nada by Sergio Mendes and the dance track Samba do Brazil by Bellini. In this song the traditional samba drums and texture are combined with brass sounds and -style piano accompaniment. The whistle is heard.
