    Hi Nick,

If Anthony Rose is free can he put forward his views here or on the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú HD blog about DOGs.

I think a really big question is whether those who want to use a dog support them from a marketing view point or another angle.
Afterall Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú content on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú 1 or 2 is rarely output with a DOG so what is the need for Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú HD or for any other broadcaster or channel?

Viewers enjoy certain genres or individual shows rather than channels meaning a logo of the channel isn't going to persuade them to carry on viewing. And in a world of EPG information or having to navigate your way through the iPlayer site they know what they are viewing already.

And to someone on the tube who sees someone using a portable device the logo will look like more of a smudge unless they directly peer over the persons shoulder as most small screens viewing angles aren't as advanaced as televisions.
