I published a novel last year about a teenager living with a parent who suffers from a mental illness so I have a particular interest in this story. There remains such a stigma about being mentally ill, and it is so positive to see programmes like this being made.

i was underage but yes i was 18 and pregnant and i really really get absolutly fed up with 18 year olds being put down being called dirty names especially single mums i just think i may be a single mum but i have my son every day every night i nurse him when he is sick i change his bum i love him i feed him just like any married 30 year old does their kids why do we get put down i think people just need to watch us young parents in person more to see how genuine we really are so please anyone that has any sterotypical views on young mums just try and find out the full facts before because you dont know how upsetting it is to get comments and looks walking throough town.
