Layers of slap, fake lashes and a freshly sprayed tan - it can only be Snog Marry Avoid? I'm sure you all know by now that Snog Marry Avoid? is the show that introduces OTT dressers to the POD (Personal Overhaul Device) to encourage them to have a make-under and embrace their natural beauty. Meet Chantelle Louise who features in this week's show:

Mmmmm...'classy outfit'? I think I'll leave that for you to decide. Is POD always right? Do people look better after their make-under or better before?

Let us know what you think: do you prefer fabulous fakery or natural beauty? Add your comment.

Snog Marry Avoid? presented by Jenny Frost is on Tuesdays at 8pm on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Three.

i think that a girl should truely be herself... if a girl is fake she is only going to attract lads that want sexual things from her! accept yourself for who you are, you were born that way and you shouldnt care what others think because that right guy will love you for the actual you not the cosmetics that you wear

Love this programme, its fantastic! I prefer natural beauty, its so much better than being fake.

i think that girls shouldnt feel the pressure to be wearing loads of make up... if a guy likes you for just the cosmetics that u wear then do you actually really want him in your life? wouldnt you rather know that a guy likes your for you not the stuff your putting on your face.

    Gotta love Fakery x

True i realy do like skiny cloths, jeggings etc, but at the end of the day, fake tan, make-up, just covers up a realy true beauty, and yeah i like natrual.

I'd prefer natural beauty, wearing too much make-up would be a bit freaky plus hair extensions and lash inserts don't look neat (especially in advertising).

  • Comment number 9.

@isabellachloe I'll try to find out for you

  • Comment number 10.

It shouldnt matter if its fake or natural if wearing loads of make up and tan and hair extions make you for you who you are then go for it but natural is a nice look aswell but i love my hair extentions and all my make up and my boyfriend loves me know matter how much make up i wear or how many extentions i put in or how much tan i put on and what people say about the lads just using them girls because of who they are is just rubbish because alot of lads fall in love with alot of them girls who wear all that make up and tan but like i always say there is always somebody out there for everyone.

When will POD turn her attention to Jenny Frost? Jenny sports a stiff helmet-like hairdo of yellow bleached curls, has a glowing orange complexion, maroon eyebrows, glow-in-the-dark teeth and either wears false eyelashes or is in the grip of a frightening mascara addiction. C'mon POD, have a word!

  • Comment number 12.

I absolutely love this programme! It's so lovely to see so many girls realise how beautiful they can be. One little suggestion, perhaps the Snog, Marry Avoid? blog could post online the Make Under outfits? x

  • Comment number 13.

Why is it, that when Jenny meets the 'reformed' girls, she looks like they did when they were Pod-ed? Rubbing it in, or a juxtaposition of being a presenter on such a show?

  • Comment number 14.

This is a fun show and should be treated as such.. thought Lissy Summers on Tuesday was marvellous.. a lovely bright girl with a good sense of humour.. defo a snog!!

  • Comment number 15.

So what is POD's deal with rejecting every single alternative person and only making under Barbie dolls??

[offensive language removed by Moderator] Isn't this show completely contradictory. Natural mean natural not slightly less artificial than purely plastic barbies.
Just because an aggressive fake electronic thing takes off their makeup is irrelevant because they put makeup back on. a layer of bronzer gives a natural glow.....no it doesn't as bronzer is fake. all makeup etc etc is a type of artificialness. You are only really natural when you are makeup less, no cosmetic surgery and naked.
I love this kind of natural beauty. I gorgeous girl who looks utterly jaw dropping without her makeup or clothes is the best kind of beauty...or guy I suppose.
This show is not about natural. Yes loads of the girls and guys on there are fake they are run of the mill follow the crowd whether its beautiful or not. They are just programmed by a type of trend. fake tan barbie [offensive language removed by Moderator] but then the show just turns them all into run of the mill plain brit indie trend. they all go from looking like clubbing [offensive language removed by Moderator] to how most school girls and students dress. ALL the same! DULL! copying sheep! topshop is gospel? its so boring and not natural either just bla.
Whats good is people who wear what makes them happy especially if they discover it without brainwashing. POD is prejudice against gothic styles (which isn't brainwashing from the media like fake tan and indie boringness) and seems to hate styles from japan alot. so only mainstream brit styles are attractive? what is that about?
The best look is inspired by your own genuine tastes that are unafraid not just to blend in. if you find chains and black or oriental styles beautiful then wear them if you chose them because you personally find that sexy but can also feel comfy going out without makeup and are comfy in your natural own skin. All the styles for the girls are ultra femme and mainstream too. anyone who is butch or alternative is not a depiction of acceptable beauty.
This show sucks and one watches it to laugh and ugly fake tanned [offensive language removed by Moderator] and get angry at how obnoxious the whole thing is.
I do really not get the whole tan is good thing. pale is unsexy why?

Prefer Natural Beauty. IMO make up should be used sparingly, and too much make up etc is a turn off. Leggings can be flattering, as they show off the shape while maintaining some modesty. It's about making the most of how you look naturally, and finding outfits that you like that flatter and compliment your look, both men and women. That's just me.

i dont see why people are moaning, its entertaining and just abit of fun, if you don't like it dont watch it simple.

I adore snog mary avoid and think thaa the people who go in FAKE BAKED look better than when they come out NATURAL (n).. its the waay fowardd :D .. FAKENESS

  • Comment number 26.

I blame the media and these awful "beauty" corporations society for giving women (and men) the idea that unless you're completely fake you're worthless as a human being and no one will ever love you or want to be around you. It's such BS! I would never be attracted to a woman with a fake tan or big fake eyelashes or fake boobs or anything fake! I am only attracted to women who are just natural and real. Real looks and real personality. Sadly, fake looks usually is a sign of fake personality and intense insecurity as well. Women in India and Nigeria spend loads of money to lighten their skin up, and women in America and the UK spend loads of money to darken their skin up. Women in both situations are risking their health for these skin modifications. What is the point!? No matter who or what you are, there will be a company to tell you that it's not good, and the opposite is best. And guess what? They have the product to sell you to complete your life! IT's a big fat scam and it's disgusting!

Love this programme, and was amazed to see a guy dressed en femme going out with his sister clubbing... OK, they were well OTT, but I wondered if the "makeunder" gave him the option of being re-styled as a bloke, or a more elegantly dressed "laydee" ?

Anyone from the Production Staff care to comment ?

I spent the majority of my life hiding behind dark frames, loads of eyeliner, baggy black clothes and an antisocial attitude. I was hiding a shy, insecure girl who wanted nothing more than to be loved and accepted for who she was. Impossible of course when you are hiding who you really are. So why was I hiding what I wanted people to accept and love? Because it was terrifying! I loathed myself so much that I was certain other people would, too. It was by far easier to present myself as someone I obviously wasn't, than as who I really am. The rejection would be far easier to deal with knowing they weren't rejecting the real me.
Every time I see a girl truly transformed months after the make-under I rejoice feeling that she's made a step closer to accepting and loving herself. Through accepting and loving yourself only is it possible to love and accept, and to be loved and accepted by others.
Keep it up ladies and gents!
