BUT it's 5.45 mins... ah well, more updates thoughout the week will make up for it.

I wish they would just release like hours worth in one go per week or 2 hours a month, this 5minutes here 7 minutes there episodes ruin it. I think ill wait until there all on Torrent download the lot and watch in one go.

Other than that it looks good, time to forget this site for few month or 2, BTjunkie for the win.

hey guys on the production team, listen to what EVERYONE is saying, every single comment, "way too short" these episodes are WAY TOOO SHORT! your actors are brilliant, the script is fantastic - even if you made each one 15 minutes it may really help, but 5 minutes really spoils all the good things about this. listen to the viewers - ITS WAY TOO SHORT!

Goes by so quickly! :D The plot does indeed thicken, so we have a family of gangsters on our hands and Adam vamps it up, next week sounds exciting stuff.

note to production team, have a meeting, threaten to throw the editor to the werewolves unless he agrees to make a change to the production plan and make longer episodes... is anyone listening?

Much as I love this programme I'm not sure that it would work as mainstream series. At the moment we watch an hour of Being Human and then quickly skip here to watch the very short episodes of Becoming Human.
Part of the appeal at the moment is that we receive a very small intense episode that leaves us with a 'cliff hanger' ending making us want to know what happens next. That would mean 22 minutes (so far) into a 'normal' length episode and all we have found out is: Adam's a Vampire, Christa's a werewolf, Matt's a ghost & peeping tom, Danny's a bully, Brandy's had a name change, teachers are teachers and they (Adam, Christa & Matt) are investigating what may or may not be a murder.
I don't mean to knock it but if this was an episode of Being Human then it probably would still be just a 'one-off' TV drama. It's the shortness of the episodes and our anticipation/impatience in having to wait a week for the next installment that makes it so good.

24- Ok so the episodes are shorter than the first theres nothing we can do about the episodes have probably already been made. All we can hope is that the production team realize how much of a success the show is and at least make a tv series with at least 30 minute episodes because i fear if the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú don't the may have a riot on their hands.

29 - I agree a CÂ鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú spin off might work, given the lack of violence and adult content so far in these episodes. (I don't really count Matts poltergeist impression as being 'violence' per se.) The bullying aspect of the show would be topical.

Revelations

1 - Matt was Drowned - Not Torn apart or drained of blood drowned - Yes Egg fans he could have fallen when chocking on an egg and then drowned so yes the egg theory still lives.

2 - The grl walking passed when Christa upsets Mr Swan has a part to play part of the less than touchy feely than the Kray's Compton clan interesting. Peeping on a daughter of the family would be a very dangerous thing to do now wouldn't it.

3 - The Detention teacher knows quite a lot and is willing to share How much more about the school does he know secrets that could be helpful?

Looking forwards to next week if there is no Werewolf action at least half fang vampires make an appearance.

i'm really enjoying this they should make it a full spin off series or least some hour long episodes

I have been a big fan of being human from the very start. I also love this spin off.......HOWEVER!!!!!! I agree with the other 99% of people on here who think 5-7 mins is JUST NOT ENOUGH........PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make them longer, surely all these comments should have let the big wigs know that this would make a great series either on or off line!!!!! does anyone else agree????

Oh, I forgot to say, this episode is shaping up very interesting. I wonder if the ghost lad was telling the truth about remembering how he died? I'm not sure why he would lie though, (okay 'death by toilet' is a rather embarrassing way to go).

I didn't really buy the teacher just giving out private pupil information like that. Could he be up to something too?

I am not so sure that Matt is totally ignorant of how he died. Unless he has a major personality change I don't see Adam or Christa caring too much to keep him around like George and Mitchell want to keep Annie.

I love this blog. I do however wish it were made to run a little longer then 6 minutes and or maybe it would be nice if this online series could be approved for television? its really good, and I don't like wondering what's to come after watching a five minute episode. All in all i love the series and adore Adam.

Well I agree both ways.
Yes it would be nice if the episodes where longer (or like being human length ) but remembering they have to film being human aswell. Also Remembering they have already filmed all the episodes already so the rest of the episodes are bound to be 5 mins.
But there is a good reason of why they have the first episode the longest, to capture the audience and to introduce the characters and plotline.
As I said before, and possibly other people, it's good that these episodes are short because if they where long as a normal episode, it would mean we would have to wait a week till the next one... With nothing in between.
Would you rather have nothing to keep you going thoughout the week or a gradual build up and help us guess what's going to happen in the next episode?

But back to this episode, I rather enjoyed it and was worth the wait. Yes the 2 sec trailer gives away most of it but it leaves us to fill in the gaps. What causes Adam to go vamp? Did he choke on a egg and drown in the foliage or is her lying...again?

And I predict the Christa transforming episode is probably the 27th or the one after that.

PEDO, EMO AND PERV

What's all the fuss about? There's a ghost who's a perv (hiding in the girls locker room to watch them undress). An emo werewolf (into cutting herself and depressingly moody). Plus a 40 year old vamp, who, quite frankly comes across more like a pedo with his leering references to school girls - if the teen actor was replaced with one that actually looked 40, you would cringe.

I think Coelura has got it right. Just give it some real thought as to what this would really be like as a TV series, even one on CÂ鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú, based on the episode content so far. As Coelura says, it's the whole format of the short clips, with the anticipation/impatience in the wait, but also, part of the whole thing is the multimedia aspect of the online experience. If you haven't looked at the other items posted such as the diary entries, the profiles, and video clips etc. then you're missing half of the experience, and if you start following them as well as the episodes, you'll find it's actually measured out quite carefully to keep the interest going and to provide a build-up of a kind of portfolio of varying media snippets. I don't think longer episodes would work in this context, they would take away from the other media content.
It's kind of a real-time experience (though maybe spread out a little) with progress reflecting real life rather than the condensed experience that a full-blown TV drama episode would give.

BUT its the character he's playing I have a problem with. He's playing a 40 YEAR OLD Vampire, DROOLING over SCHOOL GIRLS and high-fiving someone who confessed to WATCHING SCHOOL GIRLS STRIP in the locker room.

Lol, if its okay to have an old vamp leeching at girls and a creepy character who watches them strip, then there is definitely something wrong with the World :)

60 - I think you forget that Adam was hidden from the world for most of his life and treated like a 16 year old teenager so that is somewhat reasonable since he did kind of become older but not mentally or physically he's just been around for 46 years.
Matt on the other hand is just strange if he is spying on the girls or that one specific girl but you have got to admit that there is always someone that is going to do that

On the topic of Matts murder I reckon that it was this Steve McKenna character that was mentioned in the first couple of episodes. Since he's allergic to egg that Matt loves so much and it sounds like Matt isn't very appreciative of his only friend.

Don't think that anyone else has suggested him as a suspect. Also I think these episodes will send us on a wild goose chase before getting to the real killer.

BUT - In Being Human, Adam kept going on about how old he was, that's why it was okay (and a great twist!) when he was drooling over the women, lol, they were WOMEN. In this school setting, it's just plain CREEPY.

Even with your assurance that he was treated like a 16 year old, all his adult life, so didn't mentally grow up, doesn't ring true. When he first walks into the school, he goes in with the determined air of an adult. He confronts the situations in an ADULT manner (again, really funny) but there was nothing teenage about him.

He obviously did grow up mentally, (from the scenes in Being Human and the beginning of Becoming Human) so I'm back to the fact that he is a 46 YEAR OLD DROOLING OVER SCHOOL GIRLS and HIGH-FIVING SOMEONE WHO JUST CONFESSED TO WATCHING GIRLS STRIP.

Look, I like the idea, I really do, but you got to remove the school girl/old man aspect, its just wrong and a bit pedo-ish :)

I don't really believe it was really a murder and it was just an accident when one of the bullies maybe dunked him in the toilet and just left laughing not realising that he drowned. I guess it's not really an accident then but they didn't mean to kill him I guess.

I think the real unfinished business is the fact no-one really cares and that they only think he's missing not so much killed so once everyone finds out about the fact he died then he might get the door.

64 - Ok I'll admit I forgot about that but he seems to be swinging to and fro between being an adult and being a child(ish) because even though that is really creepy and disturbing if you have ever watched and listened into a 14 year old guys conversation you will realise that it is what they do believe it or not.

But if you do forget that he is 46 years old (as I often do) it does seem ok until you remember that he's 46 and only LOOKS 16.

If you forget that he is supposed to be 46 like many of us may do it does seem "normal" but obviously he is 46.

I think that Matt was choking or being sick on something, - You can see stains on his shirt - when he was duncked under the water- maybe another supernatural, although its unlike cause surely Adam or Christa would have smelt it in the toilets - The teahcer looks very nervous so maybe hes being black mailed into spreading false accusations, or maybe the teacher did it, also wandering why Christa belives everything Adam says so easily, like if i was in comlplete denial about being one mythical creature and another came up to me confessing he was a vampire and he could see a gohst, i probaly wouldnt belive him, so she must have changed at least once, cant wait to see Adam vamp out, no ideas as to why he will tho, :) MAKE IT LONGER PLEASE !!!

Ok so Adam is 46 years old but i cant remember where i heard it but somewhere it said he's 46 but he is stuck in the body and mind of a 16 year old. So the way i see it is that he is 16 with the knowledge of a 46 year old so i dont believe he is pedo like in any way.

82. I agree, Adam is a teenager, both physically and mentally, and is saying things that are very normal for a teenage boy to say (trust me, I'm a sixth form girl at an all boy's school). The only reason that he seems older is because of the references to old tv shows etc that he keeps coming out without just because he can remember things from 30 years ago, dosnt make him mentally that age.
Look at Mitchel, he is 117 but nobody seems to find it strange that he is dating women nearly a fifth of his age, and there must have been over a century's difference between Ivan and Daisy. Adam is exactly the same and while some of the stuff he comes out with may seem really cringy, they really aren't that different to anything any ordinary teenage boy would say.

I'm loving this little spin off series. I always hate spin offs but this one, I'm really enjoying. Wish the episodes could be a bit longer but maybe that's why they're so good. Leave you wanting more.

Talking about Brandy Mulligan. If you watch episode one again, you see her near danny... I don't think it is her.
Also, if you watch in the background in episode one, you see Matt standing on his own, then just as Christa moves through the dancers, matt follows... Then again when Christa moves, he suddenly moves from the back...

I have watched the frist 3 episodes, and I think they are brill, I know at the moment they are just pilot episodes, but I am loving the transformation (no pun intended) from adult drama...to teenage drama!! Saying that, as in most dramas ect. these days, you have to know the characters before you can follow the series!! I have watched 'Being Human' from the first time it was aired and was hooked. But trying to get someone who hasn't seen it before to watch it, and enjoy it as much as I do has been tough!! If 'Becoming Human' makes it to T.V. then i will defo watch it, and so will my teenage lads, (who since I've been watching both programmes, haven't had much choice in the matter to be fair) but after a few questions about, who's who, and what's what have also become big fans!! I would just like to add, that this is a DRAMA, and if any of you are REALLY concerned about a 46 yr old vampire (living in a teenagers body) perving over a school girl (warewolf) then you really need to re-think the difference between reality and fiction!!! ITS A STORY!!!!!!! Seriously, how many people arguing over the plot have ever lived with...a ghost....a vampire or a warewolf?????? come on people, get a grip!!!!
