Infernal - 'Self Control'

InfernalOh dear. Dropping the ball after a song as undeniably jiggy as 'Paris To Berlin' is forgiveable, but dropping someone else's ball, that's a little harder to let go. So to speak.

There's a secondary peril in covering Laura Branigan's 1984 hit as well, in that there's a very real danger that your mum will think this is cool, and, we can barely think about it, start to dance to it in front of your mates. Do you really want that? Do you?

However, if that doesn't worry you, then this is a perfectly acceptable slice of housed-up oldiepop, complete with manic synth huffs and lung-thudding beats. But be warned, this is more Birmingham to Derby than 'Paris To Berlin'.
