El Chombo - 'Chacarron'

Aww, see what we did for you as an extra Christmas treat there? That's right, we put the version of the song up that contains the words. Cos I bet you've been listening to this minimal, rumble-in-a-tin-can collapso tune all this time and wondering to yourself "hey! This is all very wonderful and spiritually uplifting and that, but I really NEED to get to grips with the LYRICS, MAAAN....", that's like SO where you are right now, eh?

El ChomboAll sarcasm aside, what IS this? Some fella clearing his throat for four minutes while he waits for the recording to start, only for the engineer to say "er, actually, we're already recording...", and then he's too embarrassed to admit he didn't realise and claims that this is the hot new sound in clubland?

Or is it a man called Chaka, right, whose tongue has been stung by a bee, and has swollen to eleventy-four times bigger than usual, and he's just trying to tell someone what happened, only his friend has spotted that the bee is still in the studio with them, and in a panic shouts out "Chaka, RUN!" over and over again, only in a musical fashion?

Well, obviously no, it's not that last one. It's just some bloke arsing about, and, actually, I can't emphasise this enough...ARSING ABOUT IN FRONT OF A MICROPHONE TO IMPRESS HIS MATES. And if it wasn't for the fact that it's actually sort of charming, and that it makes Lazy Town look like Beethoven, this would be banned by the United Nations for crimes against ears.

As it is, we've just got to put up with it until the new year, and then it's back to wall-to-wall Big Indie and the ban on smiling is back in force.

Two starsReleased: December 11th

Phew! I can't believe this bloody track reached UK. Here in Spain we had enough about it one month (or less) after it was released. No one could stand it, although it was played everywhere! CHACARRON, meaning SHARK AROUND.

I don't know if these are the correct lyrics, but supposedly, this guy is trying to sing in English (he'd better go back to school aye!), so forgive him his unknowledge of English, but OK this song is a s*** (let's accept it).

These MIGHT be more or less what he means to sing:

I can just hear the discussion in the marketing department of whatever company signed this guy when they were mulling over new talent - "Let's see, what we need is someone who looks like Craig Charles and sounds like Keith Richards. Anyone come to mind?" :)
