The Long Blondes - 'Giddy Stratospheres'

Long BlondesRemember PSE at school, where the teacher told you to never play in the bushes with boys? The birds and the bees, that kinda thing? Well, Kate Jackson of the Long Blondes is clearly preaching from a textbook as foreign to those chaste concepts as Russell Brand is to seriousness...and hats...and clothes of a colour which is not blackorwhite...

Unless of course we're we're totally misunderstanding what she is sensuously moaning about, of course. Mind you, I somehow don't believe the langud line "have you forgotten what it's like to have her on fours" is referring to a playground game of pony-riding. Scandalous!

And not only do the 'Blondes refer in such a frivolous way to certain activities that should be expressly reserved for after marriage (a Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú morals coach informs me), they also cut through these blasphemous sentiments with shards of guitar and shrieks so sharp they could have someone's eye out.

Rock'n'roll: your teachers might try to tell you it's neither big nor clever, but don't listen to them - they clearly haven't heard THIS.
