ROAD TRIP! ROAD TRIP!!
It's been a dog's age since ChartBlog did any of the amazing backstage blog-mongery - at a fabulous musical event - that should really have made our name by now.
Oh sure, we did Radio 1's Chart Show Live, we did the Brit Awards, we did the Eden Sessions, but now, in the wake of the presenter changeover on the Radio 1 Chart Show, we're going to DO Fearne Cotton and Reggie Yates...live on Radio 1!
What? Perfectly innocent comment, that..
Anyway, this Sunday, from 12pm-ish, ChartBlog will be posting a definitive, exhaustive, exhaustING series of reports on exactly how the Radio 1 Chart Show is put together, with input from Fearne and Reg themselves, and probably some pictures of things which are going on.
I can't really reveal too many details, mainly because it's a chart show, we don't know who is going to be No.1, we don't know who is going to be ANY of the numbers, come to that. Hell, we don't even know if there's going to be a sudden comeback by B*Witched or Showaddywaddy. Literally ANYTHING could happen...
...although chances are Mark Ronson will STILL be at No.5...

I'd love to, but I believe that somewhere, someone has recently painted a wall. And it will be my mission to track it down, so I can watch it dry.

So, Steve.. I'm just wondering something here, you think you could help me out? I'm wondering why in all your YEARS and YEARS of wisdom-gathering no-one ever mentioned that lovely 'if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all' rule.
And this isn't your stage! I mean seriously, maybe in your own little music world there's an area where you can sit around like a self-important git and criticise everything that moves, but it's not here.
So since a lot of other readers quite like the fact that ChartBlog stays away from using the sneering tone you capture in many of your comments, I was wondering if you could cool it a bit. You're welcome to comment, Steve.. but you have to play nice!

There's too much hate here Steve-o (can I call you that, probably not but I'm gonna anyway).
I feel the ChartBlog community is a loving one, and your hate for. . . well pretty much everything is polluting our happy little world.
