Radiohead Remix Latest

Thom Yorke's mexican remixIf you were around last Friday you'll remember that there's an amazing reworking of Radiohead's latest song 'Nude' doing the rounds - y'know getting a massive 'buzz' from taste-makers, scenesters and whatnot - by, well, me.

Read all about it here...

OK, I might've overstated the whole buzz thing, but there is a ChartBlog remix of 'Nude', it's a lot perkier than the original and, to complete the investigation into how this brave new world of Radiohead's (where other people pay to make their music for them) is going to pan out, I've uploaded it to their site.

Which means it's now in competition with about 700 other remixes. And now I suddenly feel oddly protective of it.

I don't want to WIN the competition, and using the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú's blog space to try and do so would be cheating anyway. That said, seeing the little fella in there with only one solitary vote made me feel like I was dropping my child off to school for their first day, only there are sixth-formers in the class - and sharks and rabid dogs - instead of other little boys and girls.

So, just to complete this musical journey we've started, here's the nice banner thing you can get off the Radiohead site to ask people to vote for your musical masterpiece. I'm not asking anyone to vote for the ChartBlog remix unless you've heard some of the other ones, but I would ask that you just pop your head in on the little fella and see how he's getting along. OK? Tell him I'll be waiting for him at hometime, and Ben 10 is on later.

Thanks ever so!

PS: Fearne and Reggie announced their support for the ChartBlog remix on Sunday. Ignore the bit where they refer to me as "our bloggerman", we're actually very close...

they should know your name really
You are a big contributor to this site, without you this site would be...well...non-existent if that makes sense :)

It would save a lot of time...mind you, I dont spend anywhere near as much time on here as I used to
And is it just me, or have I not been on here for quite a while??

[You're asking ME if you've been reading ChartBlog or not? How would I know? Welcome back though! - Fraser]

It may be quicker to read without you, but it'd be far less entertaining!

Saucesome.. Dunno why it's cheating to ask people to vote for you though :P I don't think the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú is supposed to be impartial when it comes to stuff it made.. It'd be kinda like going "Well.. our news is fine, but you should watch channel 4's and sky and so yourself first and then make up your mind which you like" :P
